Where have I been?
Honestly, it's quite a loaded question, with many answers. So, I'm just going to go through the list of things I have done with little meaningful order to sum it all up..
New Game Release!
For those who dont know, I have a side project over on Itch.io where I make TTRPGs! I had been working super hard on a new substory to the overarching series I am making called Collateral Flesh, which released somewhat early in July! It's super fun watching this series expand and I even got to watch it be played by some people at my local TTRPG club! Really exciting stuff.. I have hopes to make a video game of the same theme, which leads slightly to my next monthly happening (maybe there is a slight order happening...)
Learning C#
As I write this new page, I am technically putting off my next module.. but oh well XD. I was lucky and got sponsored to complete the CodeFirstGirls kickstarter in C# course, which has genuinely been such a motivator to working on my PC more. Like I said, I am hoping I can make some games in the future of itch.io, so this will help massively. Sadly, the course is focused on a webdev perspective, but it has been really insightful and I am sure the webdev stuff will help with this site and its creation one day. For now, I'm still html maining on here as I find this language so relaxing to work with, I can basically manage everything I want without a tutorial now, so I just sit with some music on and write. Very theraputic, honestly.
New Hyperfixation Unlocked...
Yep, that's right.. another one for the pile of hyperfixations I possess. Any guesses? Probably not, if you look at only this site, it will seem very out of left field. Everyone give a warm welcome to POSTAL! I know, so edgy. I don't know what started it either, apparently I can't just play games normally, I have to let them consume me, thanks POSTAL 2. So yeah, embarrassingly enough, that's become a total time sink. Might start modding it though, I have read some tutorials on POSTAL 2 modding (linked on my Cool Sites page now if you also want to try!). Not much else to say here, just wanted to bring it up really.
Promising Site Upgrades Again
Okay, okay. I have said it nearly a thousand times now but BGM IS COMING I PROMISE. I keep putting it off because I have failed a million times, quitter mentality I know. I kind of forgot about this site for a little while on accident, I went blind I guess. I also want to change the background because the lack of scrollability is doing my little nut in. I promise it'll come, be patient with me I am running on coffee and spite.
